Meeting Mediator (MM) is a real-time, personal, and portable system providing feedback to enhance group collaboration. Social interactions are captured using Sociometric badges developed by the Human Dynamics group at the MIT Media Lab, and then visualized in real-time on users' mobile phones. In a controlled study, we found that MM had a significant effect on overlapping speaking time and interactivity level, encouraging effective group dynamics that may lead to higher performance and satisfaction.
